Current Website Processing Details
Enquiry forms open a draft in your email application for you to review and send to info@holidayfairy.co.uk. The Website itself does not submit the message to a form service or store it in an enquiry database. Your email provider and our receiving email provider process the message. We receive it only when you send it.
We use the name, reply email, destination, dates, traveller counts, preferences and message you send to research and respond to your request. Providing these details is voluntary; without contact information we may be unable to reply. Do not include passport numbers, payment information, children's names or detailed medical information. Enquiries do not subscribe you to marketing; newsletter controls are currently disabled.
The proposed basis for answering voluntary enquiries and essential security logs is legitimate interests, subject to completing the operator's assessment. Optional saved-place storage relies on consent. Applicable legal obligations may require certain records. The local server records request URLs, timestamps, response status and connecting addresses for diagnostics; URLs can also contain searches or enquiry subjects, so avoid sensitive information in them.
Matching runs in your browser against the editorial destination list. It does not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. Hosting and email provider identities, international processing locations, applicable transfer safeguards and the operational mailbox/log retention schedule still require confirmation before launch. Retention must be limited to what is needed for the request and justified follow-up, complaints or legal obligations.
You can object to legitimate-interest processing and direct marketing. See your privacy rights for requests. UK rights requests are generally answered within one month, subject to applicable verification, extensions and exceptions. You may complain directly to the ICO; contacting us first is not a condition of that right. Applicable local rights remain available to visitors outside the UK.
Current Cookie and Storage Schedule
This schedule replaces the example cookie names in the supplied documents. Local storage is a similar technology covered by our privacy choices.
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Choice |
|---|---|---|---|
hf-consent-v1 |
Local storage remembering your consent choice; record version 2. | 180 days, checked on your next visit. | Essential preference. |
hf-saved |
Saved places on this device. | Until cleared, or functional consent is withdrawn or expires. | Optional functional storage; off by default. |
| Analytics and advertising | No service configured. | None. | Inactive. |
Use “Your privacy choices” in the footer to change or withdraw consent. Rejection deletes persistent saved-place storage; saves can still remain in memory for this visit. No permission is collected for future analytics or advertising services. Material changes require an updated notice and a fresh consent choice. The current site does not sell or share information for targeted advertising and respects Global Privacy Control for marketing.
Based on the operator-supplied Rocket Lawyer document. Website-specific corrections and storage inventory updated 1 October 2026. Company registration number remains TBC.
